- TCC will not lock due to malfunction.

- No fail-safe.
- Harsh shifts and stall possible due to malfunction.

- Unconditionally unlocks the TCC.
- Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) minimum static pressure increased.

TCC description
- The TCC solenoid is a Pulse Width Modulating (PWM) style solenoid. The PWM solenoid is used to control the apply and release of the bypass clutch in the torque converter.
- By modulating the pulse width of the TCC solenoid pressure in the S4 circuit varies modulating the apply and release of the bypass clutch in the torque converter.
