Cooling fan relay control description
- The battery voltage to the cooling fan relay and the PCM complete the ground when the following condition are met.
- Engine coolant temperature is above 100 °C {212 °F}
- A/C is operating
- ECT sensor is malfunction
- If the engine coolant temperature is below 95.5 °C {204 °F} during the cooling fan operating, the PCM cut-off the cooling fan relay.
