Neutral switch description
- A normally open type neutral switch is used. Therefore when the shift lever at the neutral position, the neutral switch become ON (continuity), and the shift lever at some point, the shift switch become OFF (no continuity).
- The shift switch signal is used for the following controls.
- Idle air control
- Fuel injector control
- Fuel pressure regulator control
- Electric spark control
- EGR control
- Purge control
