IAT sensor description
- The IAT is in inverse proportion to IAT sensor resistance. Therefore IAT is in inverse proportion to IAT output voltage.
- The IAT sensor signal is used for the following controls and monitors.
- Idle air control
- Fuel injector control
- Fuel pressure regulator control
- Electric spark control
- Purge control
- HO2S heater control
- Electric cooling fan control
- Evaporative system monitor
