Remote Switch: Service and Repair

AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

2. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

3. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.

4. Remove the driver-side air bag module. Driver-Side Air Bag Module Removal/Installation

5. Remove the steering wheel. Service and Repair

6. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Audio Control Switch Installation Note

1. Install the audio control switch so that the audio control switch wiring harness passes behind the steering wheel as shown in the figure.
