Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Inner garnish Inner Garnish Removal/Installation

b. Front door trim Front Door Trim Removal/Installation

c. Front door glass Front Door Glass Removal/Installation

d. Front power window motor Service and Repair

4. Remove the nut.






5. Insert a hand through the service hole, rotate the drum housing in the direction shown in the figure to detach the tabs from the front door module panel.






6. Remove the front power window regulator through the service hole.






7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Make sure the cable does not unspool from the drum housing when installing.
