Rear Console Removal/Installation
REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Vehicles Without Rear Ventilator Grill
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Upper panel Upper Panel Removal/Installation
b. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair
c. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation
d. Decoration panel Decoration Panel Removal/Installation
e. Center panel lower Center Panel Lower Removal/Installation
3. Disconnect the auxiliary jack connector and accessory socket connector.
4. Remove the screws A, B and screw C.
5. Open the console lid and remove the storage box and mat.
6. Remove the screws D.
7. Pull the rear console in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), then detaching clip E.
8. Pull up the rear console in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure, move the rear console in the direction of the arrow (3), and remove it avoiding the parking brake lever.
9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Vehicles With Rear Ventilator Grille
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts:
a. Upper panel Upper Panel Removal/Installation
b. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair
c. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation
d. Decoration panel Decoration Panel Removal/Installation
e. Center panel lower Center Panel Lower Removal/Installation
3. Disconnect the auxiliary jack connector and accessory socket connector.
4. Remove the screws A, B and screw C.
5. Open the console lid and remove the storage box and mat.
6. Remove the screws D.
7. Remove the clip F and hook G.
8. Remove the rear console panel.
9. Remove the rear fan switch connector.
10. Remove the screw H.
11. Pull the rear console in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), then detaching clip E.
12. Pull up the rear console in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure, move the rear console in the direction of the arrow (3), and remove it avoiding the parking brake lever.
13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
