No Upshift

Cause/remedy:

1. When the engine is running, check that there is no voltage at the kick-down solenoid valve. (If there is continuous current, B-switch, kick-down solenoid valve or fuel pump relay).

2. Remove solenoid valve and check needle valve for dirt and ease of movement.

3. Check governor pressure and clean or replace centrifugal governor, if necessary.

4. Check governor pressure booster valve (44) for ease of movement.
