Connect Impulse Counter Scan Tool as Follows:
Black (sw) wire (circuit 31, ground) Socket 1
Red (rt) wire (circuit 15, ignition) Socket 16
Yellow (ge) wire to diagnostic output socket of the system being tested. See below.

HFM-SFI engine control module Socket 8
Diagnostic Module Socket 3
Electronic accelerator/cruise control/idle speed control
(EA/CC/ISC) or (CC/ISC) control module Socket 14

NOTE: DTC's which have been stored due to testing or disconnecting of lines must be erased from the DTC memory at the end of testing.
