QT3 Perform Equipment Hookup

Connector Location:

- Follow one of the equipment hookup procedures based on the type of equipment or method.

NGS Scan Tool Connector:

NGS Scan Tool Power Connection:

- If using Rotunda NGS Scan Tool 007-00500:
- Key OFF
- Connect NGS scan tool.

On-Board Diagnostic Connector:

- If using Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL):
- Access the Diagnostic Test Connector (DTC) in the engine compartment and have a suitable jumper wire ready.

- Is the equipment hooked up properly, or if using the MIL, is the jumper wire suitable for the DTC connector?

YES -- Go to QT4. QT4 Perform Diagnostic Test Mode (Extracting Codes)


NO -- Service as necessary and repeat QT3.
