^ Check all factors external to the engine:
- Tire pressure
- Transaxle slipping
- Brake dragging
- Odometer calibration
- Vehicle load
- Driving habits
- Road and weather conditions

- Are all of the external factors OK?

YES -- Go to 15-9. 15-9 Check Basic Engine

NO -- Service as necessary.
