CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.

Normal Operation
With the key in the ON position, the 4WD control module receives the operator's choice of four-wheel drive selection from the message center. The 4WD control module then controls the electric clutch. If the transfer case is not responding to the operators intentions, systematically check all inputs and outputs to the 4WD control module. Check all circuits for opens and shorts to ground.
