Normal Operation
The driver disarm switch grounds circuit 1313 (LB/BK) to the smart junction box (SJB) which disarms the system. The ajar switches are monitored by the smart junction box. When an arm request is received by the SJB the switch positions are queried, and if any door, hood, or luggage compartment lid is ajar, then lights will not flash and all closed doors will arm or the horn will chirp twice and arm if the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter is pressed twice within three seconds.
