Normal Operation
The passenger door lock control switch supplies a ground signal through circuit 1205 (BK) to the SJB when the LOCK or UNLOCK switch is pressed. When the SJB receives ground through circuit 1296 (OG/BK), the SJB locks the doors by operating the SJB door lock relay (part of SJB). When the SJB receives ground through circuit 1297 (YE/RD), the SJB unlocks the doors by operating the SJB driver door unlock relay (part of SJB) and the SJB passenger door unlock relay (part of SJB).
Possible Causes
- SJB DTC B2474 passenger door lock switch circuit short to ground
- SJB DTC B2475 passenger door lock switch circuit short to ground
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- circuit 1296 (OG/BK) open or shorted to ground
- circuit 1297 (YE/RD) open or shorted to ground
