Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the hood ajar switch to prevent the alarm from being armed while the hood is open.

Possible Causes
- circuit 570 (BK/WH) open
- circuit 1304 (VT/OG) open or short to ground
- hood ajar switch
- SJB
