Normal Operation
During each vehicle start sequence, the PATS transceiver reads the PATS key identification code and circuit 1216 (GY/OG) sends the data to the powertrain control module (PCM).

Possible Causes
- fuse
- circuit 1140 (VT) open
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- circuit 1215 (WH/LG) open
- circuit 1216 (GY/OG) open
- PATS transceiver
- PCM
