Normal Operation
When a button is pressed on the keyless entry keypad a signal is sent to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuits 78 (LB/YE), 121 (YE/BK), 123 (RD) and 1298 (LB/OG) to activate the function requested.

DTC B2695 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 78 (LB/YE).

DTC B2696 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 121 (YE/BK).

DTC B2697 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 123 (RD).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 78 (LB/YE) open or short to ground
- Circuit 121 (YE/BK) open or short to ground
- Circuit 123 (RD) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1298 (LB/OG) open
- Keyless entry keypad
- SJB
