Test M: The Keyless Entry Keypad Illumination Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST M: THE KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD ILLUMINATION IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
When the keyless entry keypad illumination is activated, the smart junction box (SJB) supplies voltage to circuit 66 (LB) to illuminate the keyless entry keypad. The keyless entry keypad illumination is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK).

DTC B1626 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 66 (LB).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 66 (LB) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Keyless entry keypad
- SJB
