Normal Operation
The speed control actuator communicates with the scan tool through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network. Circuits 914 (TN/OG) (SCP +) and 915 (PK/LB) (SCP-) provide the network connection to the speed control actuator. The speed control actuator shares the SCP network with the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module or electronic manual temperature control (EMTC) module, the smart junction box (SJB), and the instrument cluster. Voltage for the speed control actuator is provided by circuit 601 (LB/PK). Circuit 1205 (BK) provides ground.
Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 601 (LB/PK) open
- Circuit 914 (TN/OG) open (SCP +)
- Circuit 915 (PK/LB) open (SCP -)
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Speed control actuator
