51 16 200 - Removing and installing/replacing storage compartment





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove shift lever cover 25 11 081 Replacing Shift Lever Cover





Version with center armrest:
Release side screws on trims (1).
Unclip trims (1) in direction of arrow from each other and remove.
Release screw (2).
Unclip drinks holder (3) in upward direction and remove.





Version without center armrest:
Release screw (1) and remove drinks holder (2).





Unclip gaiter (1) towards top.
Release bolts (2).
Release storage compartment (3) at clips (4).
Raise storage compartment (3) slightly and disconnect associated plug connections.
Feed out storage compartment (4) towards top.





Replacement:
- Remove power socket 61 34 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Power Socket in Front Storage Compartment
- Remove switch block Removing and Installing/Replacing Switch Block
- Remove controller [1][2]61 31 195 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Front Controller
