DTC 0504
DESCRIPTIONThese circuit lines are used to control the smooth shifting up and down of A/T during the hard acceleration/deceleration. Voltage signals are exchanged between ECM and A/T control unit.
NOTE: This DTC can be detected only by "DATA MONITOR (AUTO TRIG)" with CONSULT.
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With Consult
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT
(3) Start engine, and race more than 1,000 rpm once, then wait at least 40 seconds.
OVERALL FUNCTION CHECK
Use this procedure to check the overall function of the AFT control. During this check, a DTC might not be confirmed.
Without Scan Tools
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Start engine.
(3) Check voltage between
ECM terminal (24) and ground.
ECM terminal (29) and ground.
Voltage: Approximately 7V
