OVERDRIVE SWITCH
- Check continuity between two terminals.
INHIBITOR SWITCH
1. Check continuity between terminals (1) and (2) and between terminals (3) and (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9) while moving selector lever through each range.
2. If N.G., check again with manual control linkage disconnected from manual shaft of A/T assembly. - Refer to step 1. On Vehicle Service
3. If O.K. on step 2, adjust manual control linkage. - Refer to "ON-VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
4. If N.G. on step 2, remove inhibitor switch from A/T and check continuity of inhibitor switch terminal. - Refer to step 1. On Vehicle Service
5. If O.K. on step 4, adjust inhibitor switch. - Refer to "ON VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
6. If N.G. on step 4, replace inhibitor switch.
REVOLUTION SENSOR
- For removal and installation, refer to "ON-VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
- Check resistance between terminals (1), (2) and (3).
FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- For removal and installation, refer to "ON-VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
- Check resistance between two terminals while changing temperature as shown at left.
LOCK-UP SOLENOID
- For removal and installation, refer to "ON-VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
- Check resistance between two terminals.
Resistance:
Lock-up solenoid 10 - 20 ohm
3-UNIT SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (Shift solenoids A, B and overrun clutch solenoid) AND LINE PRESSURE SOLENOID
- For removal and installation, refer to "ON-VEHICLE SERVICE". On Vehicle Service
- Check resistance between terminals of each solenoid.
DROPPING RESISTOR
- Check resistance between two terminals.
Resistance: 11.2 - 12.8 ohm
