Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Testing and Inspection

Idle Air Control Valve-AAC Valve Test:

1. Check resistance of AAC valve with an ohm meter.
Should be approximately 10 ohms.

Idle Air Control Valve-Auxiliary Air Control Valve Components:

2. Remove the valve and inspect the plunger for sticking.
3. Inspect the spring for breakage.
Replace the valve if it fails the above tests.
