With Consult:

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
After the repair, perform the following procedure to confirm the malfunction is eliminated.
1. Start engine.

2. Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode with CONSULT.
3. With brake pedal depressed, shift the lever from P-N-D-N-P.

With GST:

After the repair, perform the following procedure to confirm the malfunction is eliminated.
1. Start engine.
2. With brake pedal depressed, shift the lever from P-N-D-N-P.

3. Select "MODE 3" with Generic Scan Tool (GST).
