Steering Angle Sensor: Testing and Inspection

PERFORM ZERO POINT OF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: Description
When brake ECU or steering angle sensor is replaced, or battery is removed, perform zero adjustment for steering angle sensor.

PERFORM ZERO POINT OF STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: Special Repair Requirement
1. After the procedure, perform straight-ahead driving for 5 seconds or more at 35 km/h (22 MPH) or more.
2. After driving, check that VDC warning lamp is OFF.

NOTE:
If VDC warning lamp does not turn OFF, perform self-diagnosis for brake ECU.
