LICENSE PLATE LAMP CIRCUIT


WITH DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT SYSTEM : Component Function Check


NOTE:
Check the daytime running light relay circuit first if the parking lamp, tail lamp, license plate lamp and side marker lamp are not turned ON. Refer to Component Function Check.
1.CHECK LICENSE PLATE LAMP OPERATION
IPDM E/R AUTO ACTIVE TEST
1. Activate IPDM E/R auto active test. Refer to Diagnosis System (IPDM E/R).
2. Check that the license plate lamp is turned ON.
CONSULT-III ACTIVE TEST
1. Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" of IPDM E/R active test item.
2. With operating the lighting switch, check that the license plate lamp is turned ON.





Is the license plate lamp turned ON?
YES - License plate lamp circuit is normal.
NO - Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
