Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Do not apply excessive impact to brake ECU, such as dropping it.
1. Disconnect brake ECU connector.
2. Remove two nuts and brake ECU from lower bracket.
3. Remove screws and bracket from brake ECU.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
After erasing Brake ECU memories, perform zero adjustment of following sensors and initialization of linear solenoid valve. These procedures should be performed on a flat place.
- Steering angle sensor. Refer to Description.
- Yaw rate/side/decel G sensor. Refer to Description Special Repair Requirement.
- Brake stroke sensor. Refer to Description.
- Linear solenoid valve. Refer to Description Special Repair Requirement, "PERFORM INITIALIZATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE AND CALIBRATION : Description".
