TRUNK REAR PLATE : Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Fully open trunk lid assembly.
2.Remove trunk floor carpet.
3.Remove spare tire cover.
4.Remove trunk floor box cover (without spare tire).
5.Remove trunk floor box cover (with spare tire).
6.Remove spare tire clamp and then remove spare tire.
7.Remove trunk lid weather-strip. Roadster.
8.Remove trunk rear plate fixing hook net and clips.





9.Disengage rear trunk lid emergency handle holder (1) fixing clip with a remover tool (A).

Broken circle indicates : Clip

10.Disengage trunk rear plate fixing metal clips with a remover tool.
11.Pull up the trunk rear plate to remove.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
When installing, check that all clips are securely fitted in panel holes on body when installing, and then press them in.
