BCM
Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
Before replacing BCM, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save or print current vehicle specification. Description.
REMOVAL
1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Removal and Replacement.
2.Remove instrument lower panel LH. Instrument Lower Panel LH.
3.Remove screws (A).
4.Disconnect BCM connectors.
5.Remove the BCM (B).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Be sure to perform "WRITE CONFIGURATION" when replacing BCM.
- For Canada, be sure to perform the system initialization (NATS) when replacing BCM. Work Procedure.
- When replacing BCM, if new BCM does not come with key fobs attached, all existing key fobs must be re-registered. Refer to CONSULT operation manual for the initialization procedure.
