Front Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: When working with any type of glass, use approved safety glasses and gloves to reduce the chance of personal injury.


1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
4. Remove the front door window clips from the lower run channel.
Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to depress the retainers in the front door window clips.




5. Slide the front door window from the lower run channel.




6. Pull the window up and out of the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Pull the window down and inward into the front door.




2. Pull the front door window clips to the lower run channel.
3. Slide the front door window into the lower run channel.
4. Lock the front door window clips into the lower run channel.
5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
