Test L: Rear Door Ajar Input Test

If REAR DOOR AJAR message does not appear with both doors open, check CKT 747 (LT BLU/BLK) and CKT 1250 (BLK) wiring for an open; check in-line Connectors C702 (terminal A) or C802 (terminal B) and C340 for proper terminal contact; check Instrument Cluster Connector C1 for proper terminal contact at terminal C2; if all OK, replace Instrument Cluster.


If REAR DOOR AJAR message does not appear with one door only, check associated wiring (see schematic) for an open; check suspect rear door latch assembly switch connector and in-line Connectors C702 (terminal A) or C802 (terminal B) and C340 for proper terminal contact.

If REAR DOOR AJAR message is displayed with both rear doors closed, check CKT 747 (LT BLU/BLK) wiring for a short to ground; check LH and RH Rear Door Latch Assembly Switches and repair/replace as needed.
