M: Speedometer and Odometer Are Not Accurate

Connect a scan tool at the ALDL Connector. Set the scan tool to read vehicle speed. Drive the vehicle and compare scan tool speed to cluster speedometer.

^ If the cluster and scan tool speeds agree, check for correct tire size and inflation. If OK, replace the ECM.

^ If the cluster and scan tool speeds disagree, replace the Instrument Cluster.
