Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan, Engine. Service and Repair
3. Remove pickup tube support bolts, pickup tube to oil pump bolts, pickup tube and O-ring.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pump suction tube bolts to 6 ft lbs.
