CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The passenger mirror horizontal position sensor is a potentiometer. The driver door module (DDM) determines the horizontal position of the mirror based on the voltage from the sensor. The sensor is powered by the right front door module (RFDM). The RFDM converts the sensor signal voltage to a simple digital signal and communicates it to the DDM.

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The DDM and the RFDM have to be powered up.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The RFDM signal voltage is above 4.75 V for more than 2 seconds.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
Memory movements on this axis are disabled. Manual movements are not disabled.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
When the DDM no longer detects a failure during the self test.
