CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The passenger mirror vertical position sensor is a potentiometer. The driver door module (DDM) determines the vertical position of the mirror based on the voltage from the sensor. The sensor is powered by the passenger door module. The passenger door module converts the sensor signal voltage to a simple bus digital signal and communicates it to the DDM.
CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The DDM and the right front door module (RFDM) must be powered up.
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The RFDM signal voltage is below 0.25 V for more than 2 seconds.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
Memory movements on this axis are disabled. Manual movements are not disabled.
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
When the DDM no longer senses the failure.
