Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan)

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement) in Seats.
3. Pull the door weatherstrip from the pinchweld flange as required.
4. Use J 38778 to remove the quarter upper trim by disengaging push-in retainers.
5. Remove quarter upper trim from vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the trim panel on the rear quarter inner panel.
2. Push the trim panel in to engage the retainers.
3. Press the door weatherstrip onto the pinchweld flange.
4. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement) in Seats.
5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
