CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC^ The battery voltage is more than 9 volts and less than 18 volts.
^ The RAP function is activated by the body control module (BCM).
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
^ The BCM detects a short to B+ or ground or an open circuit in the RAP relay control circuit.
^ The circuit fault is present for at least 250 ms.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
^ All power to the radio, power windows and sunroof is disabled if the RAP relay control circuit is shorted to B+ or open.
^ The RAP feature always stays enabled when RAP relay control circuit is shorted to ground.
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
^ A short to B+, open circuit or short to ground in the RAP relay control circuit is no longer present.
^ After the repairs are completed, refer to On-Board Diagnostic Features in Body Control System.

3. Tests for voltage at the coil side of the RAP relay.
4. Verifies that the BCM is providing ground to the RAP relay.
5. Tests if ground is constantly being applied to the RAP relay.
