DTC C0697Circuit Description
The automatic level control adjusts the vehicle suspension ride height. The RIM determines the height of the rear of the vehicle based on the voltage from the automatic level control sensor. The RIM raises and lowers the rear of the vehicle in order to keep the vehicle level. The automatic level control is also equipped with an accessory switch for inflation of off vehicle accessories.
Conditions for Running the DTC
^ The RIM must be powered up.
^ DTC B1327 is not stored as current.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The Accessory inflator switch input is found to be shorted to ground or stuck closed for 10 seconds.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
When the accessory inflator switch fault is detected the accessory inflator switch input is ignored and the accessory inflator function will be disabled.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The RIM does not detect a failure during the self test.

3. Check for internal faults in the accessory inflator switch by using the normal state of the input.
