Spoiler Replacement - Rear (Mid)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the lift gate.
2. Remove the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) in Body Rear End.
3. Remove the 4 inner plugs (3 from the left and right sides of the lift gate.
4. Remove the screws (2) and washers (1) from the left and right sides of the mid spoiler.
5. Remove the mid spoiler from the lift gate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the mid spoiler to the lift gate by aligning the studs to the lift gate holes.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 4 screws (2) and washers (1) to the left and right sides of the mid spoiler.

Tighten the mid spoiler screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the 4 inner lift gate plugs (3) to the left and right sides of the lift gate.
4. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) in Body Rear End.
