Park Brake Cable Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
2. Remove the park brake lever (1). Refer to Park Brake Lever Assembly Replacement. Service and Repair
3. If the vehicle has front-wheel drive, complete the following steps:
3.1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (AWD) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (2WD) in Engine Exhaust.
3.2. Remove the 3 nuts and the front floor forward heat shield.
3.3. Remove the 2 nuts and the front floor center heat shield.
4. Remove the front park brake cable (9) from the equalizer (8).
