Hood Insulator Replacement (With Hood Scoops)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the hood air extractors. Refer to Hood Air Extractor Replacement (Hood Air Extractor Replacement) .
3. Starting at the rear of the hood and working toward the front, remove the hood insulator retainers (2), thirteen places, attaching the hood insulator (1) to the hood assembly.
4. Slide the insulator (1) from the slots (3) in the hood inner panel and remove.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the hood insulator (1) to the inner hood panel and slide into slots (3).
2. Align the hood insulator retainers holes to the holes in the hood.
3. Install the hood insulator push-in retainers (2), thirteen places, to the hood insulator, by starting from the top.
4. Install the hood air extractors. Refer to Hood Air Extractor Replacement (Hood Air Extractor Replacement) .
5. Close the hood.
