Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat back rest. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
3. Partially remove the rear portion of the door sill plate to allow removal of the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the upper center pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper) .





Important: Use caution when removing the windshield side garnish to avoid damaging the side garnish locating pin.


7. Starting at the upper rear edge of the windshield side garnish (1), disengage the windshield side garnish attaching clips (2).
8. Remove the windshield side garnish.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the windshield side garnish.
2. Position locating pin (3).
3. Starting at the lower edge of the windshield side garnish (1), install the windshield side garnish attaching clips (2).
4. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper) .
5. Install the upper center pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the rear portion of the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the rear seat back rest. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
