Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement) .
2. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
3. Remove the seat back hinge cover. Refer to Seat Back Hinge Cover Replacement - Front (Seat Back Hinge Cover Replacement - Front) .
4. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Seat Back Panel Replacement - Front (Seat Back Panel Replacement - Front) .
5. Remove the seat head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
6. Remove the seat head restraint guides. Refer to Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Front Seat) .
7. Remove the seat back latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back (Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back) .
8. Remove the lumbar support knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement) .




9. Disengage the remaining inner and lower J-clips (1) from the seat frame and the Velcro tab (2) at the lower corner.
10. Remove the seat back latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back (Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back) .
11. Lift the cover and pad assembly up and away from the seat back frame while maneuvering over the seat back components.




12. Fold the lower corners of the seat back cover (1), over the seat back pad (2).
13. While holding the seat back pad, pull the lower corners of the seat back cover upwards and away from the front seat pad to disengage the hook and loop strips.
14. Pull the front seat back cover up and over the upper edge of the front seat back pad.



Installation Procedure

1. Fold the seat back cover at the central horizontal strip of the hook and loop and align the center mark on the front seat back cover with the center mark on the seat back pad.
2. Press the seat back cover firmly into the corresponding groove in the seat back pad to engage the hook and loop.




3. Press the seat back cover (1) firmly into the corresponding grooves in the seat back pad.




4. Roll the upper corners of the front seat back cover (1) over the seat back pad (2).
5. Roll the sides of the seat back cover over the seat back pad.
6. Roll the lower corners of the seat back cover over the seat back pad.
7. Maneuver the seat back pad and cover assembly over the seat back components while pulling down over the seat back frame.
8. Install the seat back latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back (Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back) .
9. Install the seat back latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back (Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back) .




10. Engage the remaining inner and lower J-clips (1) from the seat frame and the Velcro tab (2) at the lower corner.
11. Install the lumbar support knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement) .
12. Install the seat back latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back (Latch Replacement - Driver Seat Back) .
13. Install the seat head restraint guides. Refer to Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Front Seat) .
14. Install the seat head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
15. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Seat Back Panel Replacement - Front (Seat Back Panel Replacement - Front) .
16. Install the seat back hinge cover. Refer to Seat Back Hinge Cover Replacement - Front (Seat Back Hinge Cover Replacement - Front) .
17. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) .
18. Install the front seat outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement) .
