Ambient Air Temperature Gage Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (GT) (Service and Repair) .
2. Pull the ambient temperature sensor from the baffle.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the ambient temperature sensor.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient temperature sensor.
2. Install the ambient temperature sensor to the baffle.
3. Install the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (GT) (Service and Repair) .
4. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 53 km/h (33 mph) for 2 minutes in order to obtain the ambient temperature update.
