Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the hole plug (2).
2. Remove the following components from the outside door handle (3):

* The TORX screw
* The door lock cylinder (1)




3. Using a flat-bladed tool, disengage the two clips and remove the front door outside handle cover.

Installation Procedure




1. Engage the two clips and install the front door outside handle cover.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

2. Install the door lock cylinder (1) to the outside door handle (3). Secure the lock cylinder with the TORX screw.
Tighten the door lock cylinder bolt to 4.0 Nm (35 lb in).
3. Install the hole plug (2).
