Headlamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the SIR coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
2. Remove the wiper switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
4. Disengage the clamp (2).




5. Disengage the retaining tab (1) and remove the headlamp switch (2) from the steering column.

Installation Procedure




1. Engage the clamp (1) and install the headlamp switch (3) to the steering column. Secure the switch until the retaining tab locks (2).




2. Connect the headlamp switch electrical connector (1).
3. Install the wiper switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the SIR coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
