Preliminary work

1. Remove centre part of trim panel for rear lid. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for rear lid - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing additional brake light

1. Unscrew fastening nuts -2- for the additional brake light and remove additional brake light -1-.

2. Unplug electric connector -2- on additional brake light -1-.

Installing additional brake light

1. Plug in electric connector -2- for additional brake light -1-. Check that it is seated securely.

2. Place additional brake light -1- in installation position and screw on fastening nuts -2-. => Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install centre part of trim panel for rear lid. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for rear lid - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
