Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization

Removal Procedure

1. Place the module in the full open position.
2. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor/actuator.
4. Remove the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Push the window guides rearward on the track until the guides are positioned against the rear hard stop.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Connect the electrical connector to the motor/actuator.
3. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Perform the Initialization/Teach Procedure. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initialization/Teach Process (Testing and Inspection).
5. Verify the operation of the sunroof.
