Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (AWD with LZ4) (3.5L)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (FWD) (Transmission Rear Mount Replacement)Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (AWD) (Transmission Rear Mount Replacement).




2. Remove the heat shield bolts and shield.




3. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket bolts (1, 3, 4).
4. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear transmission mount bracket (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the rear transmission mount bracket bolts (1 and 4) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
3. Install the rear transmission mount bracket bolts (3) and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).




4. Install the heat shield bolts and shield and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
5. Install the rear transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (FWD) (Transmission Rear Mount Replacement)Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (AWD) (Transmission Rear Mount Replacement).
