P0769

DTC PARAMETERS

DTC PO769 is set when there has been a ground/open or short to voltage fault in a 4th actuator circuit for a time less than the time required to set DTCs P0766 or P0768, twice per ignition cycle.

TEST DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates an intermittent condition. Refer to DTCs P0766 and P0768 for circuits that may have intermittent faults. Also refer to Diagnostic aids for these DTCs.

REPAIR VERIFICATION

Monitor DTC menu "Code Status" for "Pass Since Code Clear" and "Pass This Ignition Cycle." When both have passed, repair is verified.

Criteria for pass:

^ Engine running.

^ Power present at actuators and no active faults exist for this actuator.
